Nottingham City Homes are looking to recruit experienced, qualified Plasterers across our Property service. We will be looking for plasterers to join us to work in various different areas including; new build projects, voids, within our responsive repairs team, aids and adaptations, kitchen and bathroom installations, to name just a few.

Whichever area of the team you join, our tenants are at the heart of what we do and, whether you’re working alone, with other trades or alongside tenants, we’ll rely on you to deliver an efficient, safe and friendly service of the highest quality. Naturally, you will have experience in a refurbishment and contract environment, including assessing and inspecting jobs, updating records and providing high levels of customer care. 

You will hold advanced knowledge of plastering to carry out all aspects of internal and external plastering work in including rendering, Tyrolean, rough dash and artexing on both commercial and domestic properties. As this is a cross trade position, the ideal candidate will possess knowledge and first-hand experience of completing ‘first time fix’ of other trades, where appropriate.    

As part of your daily duties you will be required to complete documentation including orders, log sheets, timesheets and PDA/Electronic reports. You will also be responsible for the ordering, collection and efficient use of materials.  

You will have experience of operating necessary portable power tools and working safely at heights using ladders. Ideally you will hold a current ECS/ CSCS Health and Safety card and a suitable qualification such as City & Guilds Advanced Crafts or NVQ 3. Additional qualifications in other trades are also desirable due to the nature of the role.  

A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is required for this role.
