Facilities Administrator  

Salary - Competitive

15 hours per week – 2 days per week - Monday and Tuesday 8am-4pm

The Nottingham City Council (NCC), Housing Services team (the new name for Nottingham City Homes) has been creating homes and communities where people want to live for over a decade. Our services and our aims remain the same as we move back into direct management by NCC, and we continue to seek talented people who want to make a difference to peoples’ lives, to join the team and support in our mission. 

Nottingham City Homes are looking for an experienced and organised individual to provide administrative and clerical support to the Fleet and Facilities Team on a 3 month secondment/ fixed term basis.

Your duties as a Facilities Administrator include:

  • Providing reception services to internal and external visitors and direct them as appropriate
  • To support with internal and external mail management
  • To monitor and manage meeting room diaries
  • To develop and maintain computerised and manual office systems ensuring effective monitoring,
  • Updating current fleet information that include but are not limited to; MOT, vehicle log sheets and insurance accidents
  • To issue ID badges to new staff and contractors
  • To be an appointed fire marshal and to undertake the fire alarm tests on a weekly basis, ensuring monitoring is kept up to date
  • To monitor car parking
  • Ensuring adherence to procedures and Health & Safety requirements on site

The ideal candidate will possess effective communication face to face, in meetings, over the telephone and in a written format when dealing with both colleagues and suppliers. You will proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications including Outlook; Excel And Word.
